How does a family survive in the 1990's,
much less prosper and live in harmony?

The world that we live in seems to beat on families like the torrential winds of a storm pounding on our house. How does a family survive in the 1990's, much less prosper and live in harmony? Families are threatened by disagreements, teenage rebellion, infidelity, tragedies, financial problems and much more. Where is the calm from this storm? How can families live in peace, experience Joy, and Love one another?

God knows this world we live in, and how difficult it is to raise a family in it. The Bible tells us that God knows your family's name, and the name of every family in the entire world (Ephesians 3:15). God has given us a plan to overcome the storms that beat on our family.

God provided us an order for the family that brings us into His loving protection. Husbands, you are to love your wives even more than you love yourselves (Ephesians 5:33). Wives, you are to revere your husbands (Ephesians 5:23) because the husband is the head of the household (Ephesians 5:33). If yours is a single parent family, fear not. God tells us that He has adopted us into His family (Romans 8:15). Children are to obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1). This is God's order for the family. He loves us and wants us to overcome the troubles of this world.

To overcome this world that we live in, you need protection from the world that would try to break down your family. God is that protection.

Ephesians 6:16 tells us to put on the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked. Your family is under attack and the attacker is the wicked spirits on this earth. When we believe in Jesus Christ, He provides strength in our spirit to overcome the world! We are filled with love, a love that surpasses anything we know. And His power to overcome works in us.

God knows what families are put through in this world, and He gave us the answers we need in His word. But so many don't know, or haven't listened to His answers. But He is there, waiting for us, with His arms opened wide. Ready to start over with us through His love for us.

No matter what you've done, God will forgive it, forget it and welcome you into His family.
