Jesus' kind of leadership is different that the worlds, He teaches us to serve the needs of others first (John 13:4-11). How many times are we self seeking and desire others under our leadership to serve us? Jesus taught us just the opposite. He taught us that the least of us would be the greatest in the eyes of God (Luke 22:26). He taught us that to humble ourselves and wait for the Lord to exalt us to a higher postion of leadership (1 Peter 5:6) (Luke 14:7-11). Further, we all know that we make mistakes and fall short of what we should be as leaders. |
However, in Christ's infinite wisdom He give grace to those who first humble themselves (1 Peter 5:5). |
We must continue to minister these Godly principles of leadership to those who will follow in our footsteps, just as Jesus did to us, so that we all might be found faithful when the Lord returns for His flock. |
